KEEP ON ROCKING ON COVID19 WORLD...
KEEP ON ROCKING ON COVID19 WORLD is the title i have chosen for my photography project during the lockdown.
The idea was to let the emotions flow, since this period had seen to limit everybody’s freedom.
I shot 9 of my dear girlfriends in LA, while rocking out on their favorite Rock song, in a liberation and cathartic dance.
Corona Virus changed the game in their lives and in their jobs, but as we say “THE SHOW MUST GO ON”, so they managed to survive, reinventing their businesses, finding calm in the frantic and still world, trying to keep themselves safe working out every day, finding new passions, discovering new skills because all that we had it was TIME.

During this time I was reminded that we are all human beings and our main ‘job’ it to BE, it created a sense of ease in me. I don’t think 2020 will be remembered as a bad year, to the contrary, I hope it will bring the necessary changes our society needs. One can only hope, right? Well, I keep on dreaming...

My kids help me staying in the moment, to be present for them and definitely not waist my time. They drive me insane and also keep me sane, weird, right?

As you all can see, from the photo gallery (I took those at my own event! Lol!), It was a blast!!... The smile in everybody's faces is the proof of the success!!
I organized this great night, almost, all by myself (i can say i am really proud of), and of course with the unconditional help and support of my beloved friends, that happens to be all talented artists, to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer Association!
Why Alzheimer’s?
I wish I could say that I chose to support this cause solely because I know it affects so many people, but the truth is that I’ve witnessed the devastation of Alzheimer’s firsthand. My father has lived with Alzheimer’s disease for 5 years and my mother has been his primary caregiver. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult journey for all of us and I’ve come to believe that no one should have to suffer through this disease, so I have decided to take action. Through this event I combined my passion for photography and my passion for this cause. My hope is that we will collectively be able to raise awareness and raise funds to support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, which is to one day have a “world without Alzheimer’s.”
It was a night of great music, dance, photography, friends and charity!!
I must thank all the people involved, the performers: Nadia Lanfranconi e Michelle Lucchese, for opening the night, and being so beautiful and funny... Blond Curly Mohawk, with their fantastic covers and help, and mixing and organizing and always chilling the f@@k out of me!! George Stanford, who made it anyway, despite a lill trouble with his dog, and being marvelous as always... LP, who blessed us with her celestial voice, gifted us singing one of her new songs!! Andy Clockwise, for djing and make us dance till the end, and most of all, after we had been forced to evacuate the room, for bringing the performance on the street with his acoustic guitar, not giving crap about the pepper spray drama, as THE LEGEND as he is!!

January 2014...
We started the month with my birthday, 39 (daaaaaa ffffffaaaaaaaa!!! lol), then Alessio and Jill's bday... Then Valentina this past monday....
I must say that the new year is started with a good vibe and lot's of hope to realize all of my projects and ideas that continuously come to visit my mind asking me to give them a life like Pirandello with "6 Personaggi in cerca d'autore" :) (Six Characters in Search of an Author, L.
